AGV - Automated Guided Vehicle
AGV or Automated Guided Vehicle, is a vehicle that can move autonomously without human control. Typically, AGVs are used in factories or warehouses to transport materials or goods along predetermined paths.
Key Features of AGV
- Navigation : AGVs can navigate using various technologies such as magnetic strips or colored tapes installed on the floor, lasers, light-based navigation systems, or navigation systems using sensors and image processing.
- Control System : AGVs usually have control systems that can be operated remotely or work in conjunction with the factory’s production control systems.
- Transport : AGVs are designed to transport a variety of goods or materials such as pallets, boxes, or product parts.
- Safety : AGVs are equipped with sensors to prevent collisions with obstacles or people and have emergency stop systems.
Advantages of AGV vehicles
- 1. Can be used in all road conditions
- Can be used on all road conditions, both inside factories with wpoxy floors and outside the factory which is a cement or asphalt floor. Able to climb steep areas.
- 2. Control and Command Applications
- Control and Command system through the Application, able to view real time Video through the Camera on the Vehicle. Able to check the location through the GPS System.
- 3. AI process systems
- The system calculates with AI when there are traffic obstacles. Able to avoid automatically.
